PAYMENT PROCESS

At Unwinnd, we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent payment process for all users booking healthcare services through our app. Whether users are booking online consultations or offline consultations—such as home visits or in-clinic appointments—the payment process is designed to be consistent and clear, ensuring a hassle-free experience every time.

When users browse the app to select a service, whether it’s for a consultation with a doctor, psychologist, radiology service, etc the pricing for each service is clearly displayed. These rates are transparent and fixed, with no hidden fees, allowing users to make informed decisions. Additionally, the app includes a “View Details” option for each service, providing users with more in-depth information about what the service entails and its exact cost.

After selecting a service, users can easily schedule their appointment using the “Book Now” feature. During this process, the app prompts them to make a payment for the selected service. The payment amount displayed during checkout will match the rate that was shown earlier in the app, ensuring that the user is fully aware of the cost before completing the transaction.

Once payment is successfully processed, users will receive a confirmation that includes their appointment details and a receipt for the payment made. Additionally, users can track the status of their appointment and payment through the Bookings Tab in the app. This feature allows users to easily monitor their upcoming appointments and ensure that both the appointment and payment are confirmed.

For online consultations, the appointment will only be confirmed once the payment is successfully processed. This guarantees that the appointment is secured and that the healthcare provider is notified of the confirmed booking.

For offline consultations, whether for home visits or in-clinic appointments, the process is similar. For in-clinic consultations, payment is typically made directly to the healthcare provider at the time of the appointment, either before or after the consultation. Payment for home visits is made just like offline consultations. In both cases, the rate for the service remains the same as what was displayed in the app, ensuring consistency across the board.

Unwinnd’s payment structure ensures that users never encounter unexpected charges. All services, whether online consultations or offline visits are offered at the same clear, transparent rates. Users can book, pay, and receive confirmation with full confidence that the process is straightforward and secure.

With this system, we ensure that accessing healthcare services through the app is not only easy and efficient but also transparent and secure, giving users peace of mind that their appointments are confirmed and the pricing is fair and consistent.

Unwinnd collects data on how you interact with the Service to monitor performance, improve functionality, and troubleshoot technical issues. Usage data is collected automatically when you access the Service and may include the following:

Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

However, to ensure fairness and respect for both our specialists and other users, we have implemented clear guidelines regarding cancellations and rescheduling.

1. Same-Day Appointments

No Cancellation on Same-Day Appointments:
If your appointment is scheduled for the
same day, you will not be able to cancel it. This restriction is in place to respect the time and availability of our specialists. Once the appointment has been confirmed for the same day, cancellations will not be accepted to prevent last-minute disruptions and to allow providers to adjust their schedules accordingly.

Rescheduling Same-Day Appointments:
While cancellation is not an option for same-day appointments, you are still allowed to
reschedule the appointment if necessary. However, please note the following:

Rescheduling must be done before the originally scheduled time of your appointment.

If you are unable to reschedule your same-day appointment and cannot attend, you will not be refunded.

We highly recommend you keep track of your appointment time and make any necessary adjustments as early as possible to ensure smooth service.

2. Rescheduling Appointments

Rescheduling Option:
You can
reschedule your appointment if your plans change or if something comes up. However, please keep the following rules in mind:

Maximum of 3 Reschedules: You are permitted to reschedule your appointment up to 3 times. After you have rescheduled your appointment three times, you will no longer have the option to reschedule.

Rescheduling Window: You can reschedule the appointment at any time prior to the scheduled appointment, but once the appointment time has passed, no further rescheduling will be allowed.

Free Rescheduling: Rescheduling is available at no extra charge, but it must be done within a reasonable timeframe to allow the healthcare provider enough time to adjust to the change.

Important Reminder: Please make sure that any rescheduling is done with enough lead time to ensure that both you and our specialist can accommodate the new time. We advise that rescheduling is done as early as possible.

3. Cancellation Policy (For Appointments Not Scheduled on the Same Day)

If you wish to cancel an appointment that is not scheduled for the same day, the following policy applies:

Cancellation Process:
You can
cancel your appointment at any time before the scheduled appointment. However, to ensure fairness and operational efficiency, the following terms are important:

Cancellation Window: You are allowed to cancel the appointment at any time before the scheduled appointment; however, the cancellation should be done within a reasonable period before the appointment begins.

Service Charge for Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your appointment, a 10% service charge will be deducted from the total amount paid. This charge covers administrative fees and ensures that our healthcare providers are compensated for their time, given that the appointment was initially confirmed.

Refund: After the service charge deduction, the remaining amount will be refunded to the payment method used during booking or to your wallet (depending on your original payment method). Refunds will generally be processed to your wallet for ease of use and convenience, but will also be available through the original payment method if you choose.

Refund Processing Time: Refunds may take a few business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider used for your original transaction. Please allow sufficient time for the refund process to be completed.

Refund Method:
The refund will be credited back to the
original payment method used or to your wallet on the app. The payment provider or wallet system used during the original transaction will determine the refund process. If you opted for a wallet-based transaction, the refunded amount will automatically reflect in your wallet balance. If you used a debit/credit card or another payment method, the refund will be processed to the original method, and the amount will appear in your account as soon as the provider processes the refund.

Example:
If you made a payment using a credit card, and you cancel your appointment, the refund will be issued to the same credit card. If you made the payment using your wallet, the refund will appear in your wallet balance. In both cases, please allow several business days for the transaction to be reflected, depending on the payment method.
